Why We Pray

At Choices, we believe the battle for life can be won through prayer. Many of us have watched our society drift from defending life at the point of conception to a society with unrestricted abortion practices. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that 63,459,781 abortions have taken place in the United States since 1973. Ultimately, we pray our country will seek repentance and forgiveness for what is being allowed and what has taken place. Along with that, Choices would like to ask people who are passionate about this ministry and believe in the power of prayer to join us in praying for our nation and for the defense of life reflected in our prayer requests below. 

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
